The Rolling Hills Schools Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame, a certified non-profit organization, was created largely through the efforts and guidance of then Meadowbrook High School Principal Charles E. Chippi. A Board of Directors was selected, by-laws were established, and Articles of Incorporation were filed in October of 1996. The purpose of the organization is to recognize and honor those persons who, through their performance and exemplary accomplishments, reflect credit on Rolling Hills Schools. By honoring the talents, skills, successes, and contributions of former graduates, the members hope to inspire present-day students to identify with the past, establish goals for the future, and rise to high levels of achievement. An honoree must be a graduate of the Rolling Hills Schools. Graduates from Buffalo, Byesville, Community, Cumberland, Lore City, Meadowbrook, Pleasant City, and Senecaville High Schools are eligible for nomination. A period of seven or more years must have elapsed between graduation and eligibility for induction into the Rolling Hills Schools Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. If deceased, a nominee will be considered for induction after the third anniversary of death.
